Zeynab El-Helw is a fashion influencer, model, and founder of Reborn, a sustainable and ethically conscious clothing line launched in collaboration with UNHCR to support refugees. I designed her portfolio site to match her personal aesthetic and tell that story well.

The Problem

What wasn't working

A public figure with a cause needs a site that carries both her personal brand and the weight of the work she does, without either one drowning the other.

Goals

What success looked like

  • Capture her aesthetic and personality in the design.
  • Give Reborn and the UNHCR collaboration a proper stage.
  • Keep it elegant, personal and easy to update.
Research

What I learned first

  • Studied her existing brand and the tone of her content.
  • Looked at how personal sites balance identity with purpose.
Challenges

The hard parts

  • Holding a personal brand and a social cause in one design.
  • Staying elegant without feeling cold or corporate.
Design Process

How I worked through it

  1. 01

    Understand

Got to know her aesthetic and what mattered to her.

  2. 02

    Design

Built a look that felt like her, not a template.

  3. 03

    Tell

Gave Reborn and the cause a clear, respectful place.

User Flow

The path a user takes

  1. 1Land on a page that feels distinctly hers
  2. 2Get a sense of who she is
  3. 3Discover Reborn and the cause behind it
  4. 4Follow or reach out
Final UI

Where it landed

An elegant, personal site that feels like Zeynab, with room for the work that matters to her.

Lessons Learned

What I took away

  • Designing for a person means listening more than deciding.
  • A cause deserves the same craft as the brand around it.
Reflection

Designing for someone with a real cause behind their name made me care about getting the tone exactly right.
